Mobile visits can be valuable when travel is difficult or when the home environment is central to the assessment. Clinicians can observe real movement, daily routines and equipment use, then provide recommendations that fit the client’s circumstances.
Refine works with care providers, support coordinators, health professionals, families and clients. Clear referral information helps us match the client to an appropriate clinician and communicate realistic expectations from the beginning.
For older adults and people whose mobility makes longer journeys difficult, receiving care at home can reduce travel demands and make the assessment more relevant. It also gives the clinician an opportunity to consider the client’s usual pathways, household setup and available support.
